The Creators Project

A couple of months ago, VICE decided to launch a quality project featuring Spike Jonze, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Phoenix and Chris Cunningham. The aim was 'to mash up art and technology with some of the best creatives from across the globe'.

Since then, you may spotted interviews with Peaches, Mark Ronson and UNKLE's James Lavelle. Producers and procurers of talent Fools Gold were also on board. Not forgetting UVA a colourful collective of architects and designers who use LED, projectors and customized software (they worked with Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers and Vivienne Westwood)!

The Creators Project party in London, will be happening on July 17th. It's the biggest party Vice UK has ever thrown. There's the temptation free food and drink and installations from some of the best artists working today. In addition to live performances from Mark Ronson, Kele Okereke, Filthy Dukes, Trevor Jackson, Flats, Hudson Mohawke. Entrants will need to register to gain a chance of admission. An exhibition will be held during the day. This will completely free & open to everyone. WOW!

In summary, it's set to be a 15-hour extravaganza (of music, art, design and technology). Victoria House will opens at 12-noon to showcase a dizzying array of entertainment until 3am! Featuring performances, interactive exhibits, films and panel discussions from the likes of Mark Ronson, Spike Jonze, Kele Okereke, Trevor Jackson, Animal Collective, Nick Zinner from the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Martin Ware of Human League, United Visual Artists, Mira Calix, Matthew Herbert, Ladj Ly, onedotzero, Patrick Jean, and secret special guests.

With less than a week to go here's a new Creators video with Kele Okereke, who will be performing on Saturday. Kele was previously known as the creative mind and singer for Bloc Party and now he's put out his first solo debut album 'The Boxer', which is getting a lot of attention. We are excited!
